Content Research - The Vagina Guide - External Collaboration Brief

For the publication I wrote a list of topics I wanted to include, considering the different illustrations that could accompany this and how the information would be organised. I looked at research online and in books including 'Let's Talk about Sex'. The publication needed to be friendly, safe and explanatory and the tone of the writing and design needed to reflect this.

Although 'Let's Talk About Sex' is written for much young people, it had some good reference material and explains complex concepts in easy to understand, open ways. The diagrams are very realistic, similar to Hope's style and the text has been laid out in consistent and legible columns - and this open and explanatory style is something I could experiment with. At what point is the information being miscommunicated at the expense of the design?
