Sticker Development

Map Design

A map of Leeds was designed so that it could be placed on the wall in vinyl and members of the public could place stickers were their most memorable place in Leeds is. The black stickers would be placed beforehand to signify where all the prints were form, hopefully again creating a natural gradient. Whereas the public's places would be in blue in order to show a difference and link to the blue circles on ceiling of Room 700. Alex created the map here and I added to the dots in to give an example of how the sticker effect might appear.

Wayfinding

We also discussed ways of using the stickers on the floor to direct people around the exhibition. Ali created vinyl stickers that would be stuck in patterns that 'ebb and flow' on the floor. There was eventually some discussion over whether Room 700 would allow this in their space, so an alternative method needed to be created.

These were eventually changed to a three dot ellipsis for simplicity and organisation.
