Poster Design Development

We had several ideas for the poster designs, initially we wanted to use colourful prints in the centre, highlighted by the simple black and white around the outside. These two were Tom's designs and they work well to emphasise the colour in the centre using a minimalist approach.

I also created designs that involved a minimal black and white approach, yet this was done by halftoning a print design and making it black and white to fit with the aesthetic. This then used the print aesthetic but also included a piece of work, sticking to the monochromatic colour scheme. However, in some ways the source of colour was lost. This definitely needed work in order to still make an exciting and vibrant attraction to the exhibition.
