Reformed Work Feedback

Main Points:
  • The branding was too monochromatic, it was important to add more colour into the branding in order for it not to seem to flat and basic. For this we decided to make sure that we were use the CMYK approach to have toning the images of prints, allowing them to still have shots of colour but it carried our aesthetic forward.
  • It was also suggested that our use of Helvetica needed more foundation and reasoning. The choice because of its simplicity needs further explanation.
  • For the posters we needed to explain further how they would be printed. A costing of this may have been more effective as our plan was to digital print, although on reflection screen printing would have been cheaper and more authentic.
  • For the flyers it was suggested that we didn't necessarily need to the balloon aspect and we could in fact incorporate the acetate kept in the catalogue and that being used in the project for the flyer itself.
Presentation Improvement:
  • Images of the location and of the items we created needed to be better quality.
  • The image of the circles on Room 700s roof needed to be at the start of the presentation to confirm our reasoning behind the circle theme.
  • The social media needed to be clearer, the transition of images should be shown in stages like a storyboard.
