- Reflecting on you are as an artist.
- Could create a moodboard.
- Could be a surreal reflection.
- Making the mirrors infinite.
- Smashed mirror - different art medias.
- Fairy tale theme - 'the fairest institution of them all'.
- Bodies or faces in the mirrors.
- Reflect things around the university - perhaps new build. Photograph different angles of the rooms using the mirrors.
Pictograms Ideas:
- Simple but bold symbols to reflect the courses.
- Name of course represented in the image - could introduce colour into the designs.
- Stained glass shapes could be used to make pictograms and mosaics.

Mosaic tiles to experiment with |
- Pictograms can be created to represent the courses, using either typographic or image based representations - potentially with the mosaic tiles.
- These mosaics could be placed within the logo shape of the university, meaning that once finished they could slot nicely together in their own mosaic shape. This might have to be simplified in some ways though, in order to not overwhelm the viewer.
- Another idea was to glue the tiles on acetate and then shine a light through to experiment with some new visual effects.
- Similar to these Jon Contino designs, the mosaic tiles could be used to create type. However it would definitely need to be simplified for the branding, as the final pieces need to be immediate and striking.
- This could potentially be digitally replicated too, meaning that there could be more creative freedom within the design and more opportunity for experimentation.

- The designs could also be refined into simple separating shapes, similar to the Rio 2007 pictograms. Also potentially including figures in the designs, creating a personal, student-led reflection of the university - which was suggested by the brief.
