Crit Feedback:

• Look at Otl Aicher's pictograms for ways of simplifying the complex shapes into recognisable symbols.
• Experiment with the shapes using thick marker and cutting and sticking the shapes out of card to create adjusted forms.
• Make sure the simplified logo still conveys the curves and angles of cats so that the viewer can recognise and relate to the design.
• Think about how the colours can convey the fantasy theme.
• Take elements our such as the eyes, mouth etc and see how recognisable it is in its simplest form.
• By having it simple you're almost leaving the design to the viewer's imagination, which is exactly what fantasy tries to achieve.
