After the initial sketches, some digital iterations were made. The client liked the sleeping expression of the lower right cat and the expressive faces on the top row. This was confirmed after some crit feedback. However, again there needs to be further experimentation into ways the expression can be simplified and bold, but still exciting.
Looking at the logo designs, they need some tidying and refinement. Some of the shapes are too complex, or inconsistent and in some ways there needs to be more balance. This leads me to the idea of experimenting more with a baseline grid, similar to what Otl Aicher uses for pictograms.
