The final prints were then scanned in, cropped and edited. The style is sinister, bold and striking - it immediately sets up that section of the book and creates another avenue of engagement for the reader. These were then sent to the editor to be placed within the book, given a page of their own next to their part title. The rough texture of each image truly adds to the aesthetic of the story and is something I would like to explore for the cover, perhaps with experimental textures.
